This is required to have been taken prior to starting as a fisherman

1 day Basic Firefighting & Prevention

This must be taken within 3 months of starting work as a fisherman

1 Day Basic First Aid

This must be taken within 3 months of starting work as a fisherman

1 Day Basic Health and Safety

This must be taken within 3 months of starting work as a fisherman

Experienced Fisherman - who are not new entrants

Day Safety Awareness and Risk Assessment

This course is required for experienced fisherman,
which is defined as those who have been working as fisherman for two or more years.
