Delegates at the Red Ensign Group Conference have been hearing what the impact of the impending International Maritime Organization Member State Audit (IMSA) will be on their particular region.
The IMSA audit looks at a range of compliances with international maritime regulation across port state control and coastal state preparedness.
Richard Pellew for the Maritime & Coastguard Agency told the Red Ensign Group Conference that the audit is due to be carried out across the UK Flag in September.
Members have been giving updates on where they are in respect to the audit, sharing ideas and knowledge to help support each other.
