A review of counter pollution response capability is being carried out by the Maritime & Coastguard Agency in the Falkland Islands.

The work is being carried out through the Conflict Stability and Security Fund, funded by the UK Government.

Steve Horn and Stan Woznicki of the MCA are reviewing pollution response equipment in the port of Stanley and discussions have been held with the authorities there.

‘Discussions have been productive and useful,’ said Steve. ‘It’s part of the ongoing sharing of expertise across the Red Ensign Group.’
